Bar G Western Wear
115 W. 2nd

Bar G opened as “The Tack Shop” 205 S. Main selling tack, saddles and doing boot and shoe repair by owners Buz and Fern Goodson. In 1978 they moved to 203 S. Main and opened as Bar G Western & Casual Wear. In 1995 they purchased the present location of 115 W. 2nd Street and it was the best move for their store.  Due to an electrical fire in 1996 the business closed for three months to remodel and restock the floor. They are a true “Mom & Pop” operation, with two of their sons and family helping for special events and Christmas.  Granddaughters also help when school is out.

They offer western and casual wear for the entire family. From the top of your head to the soles of your feet, they can outfit you! They are constantly updating inventory with current styles.

Bar G received the coveted “Resistol Windy Ryon Retailer of the Year” awarded in January 2017, an achievement that is no small task. This award is a national recognition and Buz and Fern are humbled and grateful for the recognition.
